From that interview sway I get the drift that it was Jagger who was most narked about what Wyman said. I would agree that the plaque wording could have been better, and I believe it will be but Wyman's choice of wording in complaining about it, was poor. Wyman called it 'disgusting', and he said so publicly. Now the impression one could get when Wyman went public is that it was Jagger and Richards who came up with the wording , but of course the decision to put up a plaque, and the wording on it, had nothing to do with them.
I would guess(and it's only a guess,but an educated one) that Jagger was complaining about the fact that Wyman was bumping his gums publicly, and there was really no need for that. What was wrong with leaving it as a letter to Dartford council pointing out that the wording was perhaps not quite accurate enough?
'Disgusting' is possibly a word better suited to some of old Bill's peccadillo's in a previous life, rather than a description of Dartford Council's wording on a plaque they stuck up in a railway station.
