He's still erasing Brian from history, and now he's adding poor Bill to his line of fire. I really want to be able to have some modicum of personal respect for the guy, but I just can't. He has no class. Recently he said something about wishing he helped Brian, but he couldn't because he "stole his old lady". I thought for a second Keith had come around a little. This proves he has not. Brian founded your damn band Keith! Without him you would have been a bum living off Doris! The only explanation for this is that Richards scared that somebody may realize that maybe Brian Jones owned more of the "Rolling Stones" than he wants people to know. Mucho dollars may be owed.
To top it off, Keith has narrow taste musically. I mean if he can't enjoy the awesome explosion of what was 1967 acid rock than it's no wonder his "roots" music has all sounded the same since the eighties. I mean if he can't enjoy recordings like "We Love You" or "Strawberry Fields" plus 100 acid rock classics of 1966-68 I can conjure up, Keith must be really dull in his old age.
It also proves that, beyond some nice guitar licks, he really played little part in the progressive records the Stones did in 1966-67. I think a lot of Aftermath, Between The Buttons, and Their Satanic Majesties were more Brian and Mick, than Keith and Mick. The last record that has that progressive sound to me is Child Of The Moon. There is a big reason those records were ignored when they went back on the road in 1969, they couldn't do them without Brian.
