it may be that one day 'Hurricane' will be come to be seen as a case of poor judgement on Dylan's part.
My guess is that this will never happen to him since 1) Most people who have studied the case agree with Dylan. 2) If that was to happen, it would have already. Dylan did the right thing and in the end he helped to set an innocent man free. There was no poor judgement on Dylan's part.
Up until Carter's death last week, this case was over with for the American people and most accepted the fact he was placed in prison for a crime he didn't commit. But some who disagreed, upon his death felt they had to get in a last word, and by reading the Yahoo News board (which sadly is filled with trolls, racists, and pure right wing nutcases) that was sure an ugly sight to see. Then it started to happen here - not the racist stuff, but the questions as to if he did it. I didn't feel like reading that shit here of all places, but that's the way it goes. My job as webmaster is to keep the board flowing smooth and remove any flames that come up, and that's all I did, other than move the discussion to a new thread, and add a few of my own comments.
