One fan said Ringo owes us nothing.
The same thing was said here about Mick J recently, in the debate about Mick T not being on the Zip Code tour. I beg to differ about Mick owing us nothing and I also beg to differ about Ringo owing us nothing.
The fans are the ones who kept them doing what they loved during all those decades. The fans are the ones who made it possible for them to live in luxury and lead extraordinary lives. They owe us a lot. That they refuse to acknowledge it doesn't change the facts.

As an admin on a board where we can lock threads, I can tell you that it's both a blessing and a curse. What is unacceptable to some is perfectly OK to others. Deciding where to draw the line while remaining fair is truly a juggling act. As is treating everyone equally. Whenever I lock a thread (something I hardly ever do), I'm sure to get some flak from at least one side via our private messaging system.
So when I lock a thread, it's usually temporary and I'll reopen it after a few days, when everyone has had a chance to calm down. That usually works. And we NEVER censor opinions. Just about the only thing we do not tolerate is members being rude to other members. But we are very strict about that.
I don't know who Steve Hoffman is either, but he runs a very active music forum. I'm not a member there, but I read stuff on that forum every now and then.
