Blind Ringo fandom-hysterical if it wasn't so sad.

Well really now that some time has passed I am more amused than anything. I mean closing a thread merely because I said the guy could be a little more polite and should stop muttering peace and love all the time if he doesn't mean it.

The hilirous thing that Howard Stern always picks on him for is that in his infamous "no more mail" video he says basically "I'm warning you with peace and love that your mail is going in the rubbish!" It really is a Rutles moment.

I actually dig some of his seventies work too, which I pointed out on there. My only beef was that people prattled on about me like I was some Beatles stalker for four pages before the thread was closed and I didn't get to respond to that.

Personally I just made the post because I kind of miss the fun guy from the Beatle days. I understand after how George and John left this earth he would be careful. Yet if he doesn't like the public. why not live a quiet life like George did? Why go on tour and be rude to fans and co-workers? George hated fame, and didn't tour but twice. He kept his sanity, and seemed to be a very happy fellow for it.

Yet it really was funny how crazy those fans were. One fan said Ringo owes us nothing. I said that is true, he owes people nothing but treating us like a fellow human of the same species. They said Beatles don't owe us mere humans that! LOL!

Some people really need to get off the Magical Mystery Bus! I mean if Ringo told them to drink the kool aid I'm afraid they would. I just hope I never was that big of fan of anybody at any point in my life. In fact I know I wasn't!
