If you don't see what I'm describing for yourself it sounds ridiculous, I assure you the documentation will convince you of some of the new information being valid. Don't read anything but the police papers and you have some very fresh info on Brian Jones' death and the people surrounding it.
Read the documents before you decide who and what is fake this time out. It isn't done like before. This Paul Spendel fellow did his work in a much more credible fashion by providing hard documentation that was buried for years. He spent decades getting documents declassified from 1969 all the way up to some people going on record to an uninterested police in 1994.
Actually the book feels that Frank's daughter lied about Mick and Keith being there that day, but noted her quote as is. They feel the incident happened when Brian and Frank were at Redlands the year before. They say that because it kind of matches up a story in the Spanish Tony book. I just quoted what she said direct, not their speculation on the date.
Again to me there is a lot of creditablity here brought by Paul that Terry himself doesn't have. Paul was researching this stuff for years by himself, he talked to Janet long ago. She did an interview Terry as well. There was a total of three other "recent" interviews she did including one with the police in 1994. Again there are police documentation on this.
A lot of other people also went to the police in 1994 after a Crimewatch BBC special on the death of Brian (part of it is on Youtube but I can't find the whole thing) made it look like the case was about to be reopened. They were ignored but thier official statements are in the book.
This has more to it than you think it does, namely it blows the whole offical timeline apart. It gives you insights into Frank and Tom backed by offical record that really give more insight into how cold blooded they both were, and how capable they were of killing not only Brian but others who got in their way. Don't dismiss this all off hand. These guys (Tom and Frank) were thugs protected by a high ranking offical, they should have both been in jail for what happened that night. One murdered Brian, one saw to it that he never got justice all because he knocked up a nurse.
