Has anyone else read the third edition of Who Killed Christopher Robin? There is a lot of new info on it. The e book is available everywhere, but I hate e-books and bought the physical book from http://rockbookshop.com/shop.html#!/Brian-Jones-The-Final-Truth/p/30379031/category=521369
Anyways, I forgot one that it is a pretty decent bio on Brian. It documents the first time he tried drugs for instance which no other book to my recollection ever did, and it also has a TON of new material in it.
I won't ruin it all but Tom Keylock confessed to being there that night shortly before his death on film in front of Terry and Keith Badman. Supposedly this will be on a DVD doc coming out. Tom also was Janet Lawson's boyfriend but made the equally married Frank take the fall for the infidelity. Janet was pregnant with Tom's baby and they (Janet and Tom) were arguing about it when Brian died which was at 9:30. An ambulance wasn't called for hours because many people were ushered out and others who had been knocked out by drugged food (including Anna), made by Frank, had to be revived.
Also Brian's female driver Joan Fitzsimmons had been dating Frank, she left at 9 shortly before Brian died. She saw him and Frank arguing. She had left him for a young middle eastern man a month or so earlier, something which Brian made fun of him for. Brian even pushed Frank in the pool once when he was yelling at the younger man. It may have cost him his life.
Anyway Frank confessed to Joan late that night that he killed Brian. In subsequent weeks she was very loose lipped about Frank's confession intimating she would go to the press. One night Frank chased around town and she escaped but she was subsequently almost beaten to death. She was injured to the point where she was blinded for life by her enraged Arab boyfriend. It seems Frank called the young man who he knew was unstable and said he was sleeping with her again. The photo of her before and after is like a horror movie, just horrible.
Tom was able to cover this and Brian's death up as his brother was a very high ranking official in the London police force. Read Keith's 1971 interview in Rolling Stone he's obviously talking about Keylock when he says there's a guy he can ask the details (but has not as of yet) who had pulled off a cover up.
Phew!!!! Get the book there documents and photos backing all this up. The only thing in there that doesn't seem to make sense is that Terry seems to believe the widely discredited Nicolas Fitzgerald's story if only because Tom confirmed it. Terry admits Tom faked the death bed confession of Frank but still points to Frank as the killer. He names "Marty" from the Blown Away book and names about four other builders who there when Brian died.
NOW HERE COMES THE REAL SHOCKER IF TRUE Mick and Keith may have stopped by earlier that day. According to Frank's daughter Mick and Keith had been by earlier in the afternoon to offer Brian a large sum of money. It seems Brian owned the name 'The Rolling Stones'. Brian would not sell them the name and Keith pulled a knife on him. Frank apparently had to separate the three.
Now nothing was said about Brian not letting them use the name, nor was anything said about Brian threatening to sue over the name. Yet it is very possible that the shrewd, bright, together, and frankly almost ruthless Brian Jones of 1962-63 would register the name at some point. He was the leader, and it was his group. Now again nothing was suggested at all about this but I cannot ignore this.
IF this story is true, did Tom actually take care of business himself? If not for Mick and Keith, who despite the knife I cannot believe would resort to murder, however I do believe Alan Klein would not have hesitated for a second to "pull the trigger" on Brian Jones. Especially if seen in the light of being a difficult former client who could potentially cost him millions and make his 1965 deal with ALO, Mick and Keith null and void.
I shudder to think about it, but obviously Brian Jones pissed off the wrong person and got a very unjust punishment. There are files that won't be released for another 48 years, why??
The Mick, Keith, and Brian 7-2-69 meeting is all conjecture, it may have never happened, but here is FACT the promised money from Klein wasn't coming, and Brian was hurting. Even now Brian is not being paid his proper share, that's another verifiable fact. His children and grandchildren, and probably by now great grandchildren get no money. Abcko has sold how many copies of "Hot Rocks" alone globally? Double digits at least. I'm sure Brian Jones era recordings have sold around 100 million worldwide. I'm also sure Stones videos with him and his printed image have sold millions as well.
Who has his money? If it can be proved he owns the name, Mick is going to have to sell a villa or two.
I truly feel Mick, Keith, Charlie, and Ian's trashing of him publically post death was worse than anything he did in life to them, but if you add the financial aspect, it's almost criminal. In fact it may actually be criminal.
I mean Brian's sister Barbara should DO something to stop this! Find out who killed your brother, get his royalties in order. I mean this is an important man in music history! She was raised to be ashamed of her brother but she is taking the food out of her families mouth. I mean if I was her I would sued Keith for "Life" alone. It is a clear case of slander that can be proven easily. Too bad she doesn't seem to care about her brother. I think Stones fans and maybe Bill Wyman are the only ones that do sadly.
We don't have the final truth here, but what I read enrages me. Why doesn't anyone do something for Brian now? Why won't the case be reopened?
