In Stanley Booth's book Ian claims that Brian never played a note after Ruby Tuesday. In Brian's 1999 Mojo cover story Charlie is very dismissive of Brian's musical skills. He admits Brian was first at a lot of things, but not the best. He seemed to be following the Jagger-Richards line more or less saying more or less how they learned to make do without him as early as the 2nd US tour and how easy it was to do so. Just a mean spirited interview, Mick is more generous in it actually.
