First, I do agree that Terry should have totally rewritten his book and not republish the falsehoods he first wrote, second, I agree that Paul should have wrote his own book on this, doing all of that research and then allowing it to be published in a book known to be full of holes, ins't too smart a thing to do.

But from everything I have read about it, it is. It's all the very same stuff with one new chapter added.
Paul was researching this stuff for years by himself, he talked to Janet long ago. She did an interview Terry as well.
I do not believe this at all! She was dying, she is totally quite for all those years and then after coming clean so she could die with a clean conscience, she does an about face and makes up a totally different story than the one she just told weeks earlier? She made it clear that she didn't like to talk about this at all, yet then she starts to have diarrhea mouth in the last weeks of her life?
There was a total of three other "recent" interviews she did including one with the police in 1994. Again there are police documentation on this.
Yes she spoke to the police on this, but where is the proof she spoke to these 2 others? They have a tape of this? If she, weeks before she died, totally changed what she said a few months earlier, then anything she would have to say at that point about this couldn't be trusted, so why would those 2 write what she said in their book and believe that story and not report also on what she actually said months earlier?

...It gives you insights into Frank and Tom backed by offical record that really give more insight into how cold blooded they both were, and how capable they were of killing not only Brian but others who got in their way.
So you're saying or suggesting that the 2 killed other people besides BJ?
I already know from my own research more than I wish to know about the 2 of them, they weren't nice guys at all and both of them disliked Brian, that was clear.
Frank killed BJ in a spur of a moment thing that night, it wasn't like he planned it, he just snapped and did what he did. Tom on the other hand was a life long friend of Frank, their friendship want back to high school and Frank was there because of Tom, he got him the job to work with the Stones. I believe the bedside confession that Frank made to Tom didn't happen, but I believe he did confess to Tom about this, years earlier, maybe as early as the night of Brian's death, and that Tom helped to cover it up to save his friend's ass from going to prison.
One murdered Brian, one saw to it that he never got justice all because he knocked up a nurse.
There is more to it than Tom knocking Janet up, they both were doing her while the 2 were best friends and married to other women. Tom covered this up but not for the reason you think.

I spoke directly with Trevor Hobley for about 2 hours about this, back when I was writing my book. He seemed like a very credible person to me who wanted the truth to come out on Brian being murdered. He was the one who sent me the autopsy and pointed out the part where it noted what condition Brian's brain was in, and that more than likely is what killed him. Brian was shaken before he died and it was clear he was in a fight for his life in that pool. Plus why did that other person have scratch marks all over his chest and why did the police not question him more about that in the following days?
As far as Spendel being associated with Hobley, that doesn't mean that he's clean on this - or not. Trevor did talk to me a bunch about another person who did research on this, maybe it was Spendel, but that was too many years ago for me to remember and I would have to go through way too many notes to find who's name was noted to me.
As for Janet, there could be myriads of reasons why she never talked.
Her life was threaten by Frank, that could be the only reason why she didn't talk.
For starters, she likely saw nothing since she was inside the house.
She never said she saw the murder. Nobody but Frank and Brian were outside, yes, but she found the body and her story on this sounds solid. If these other 2 say they spoke to her later on and she changed her story, then they are full of crap. Plus she didn't talk to them before the newspaper reporter did.
Maybe also she didn't want to keep going over a painful chapter of her life, maybe she was a very private person who simply wanted to keep to herself, maybe.
She said that in the interview if I recall correctly. She only came clean because she was dying and she wanted the truth to be told, although she didn't at first tell Jones that she was dying, only that she was seeing a doctor because something was wrong with her health.
The Sussex police aren't going to reopen a 45-year old case on what still amounts to flimsy evidence.
You got to remember that they did reopen it years later and then closed it again. They didn't want to bring up all the mistakes they made back then and show how they totally mishandled it all. That, and all of these people making up false stories as to being there and then changing their stories. Too bad, because Brian was killed and his killer got away with it, and even if they could prove this today, Frank is still dead and therefore, he still got away with what he did.
I'm sure the taxpayers there would rather see their hard-earned money used to keep their streets safe today.
I'm willing that some of the taxpayers feel different on this, too, and want to see this case reopened. Some people do believe in justice, and yes, some others just don't give a shit and care more about how their tax money is spent than see the truth come out.
