Also, children run the shcools to a large degree, as well as many homes. Parents have been disenpowered, as well as teachers. The disempowernment of police is now on the dockett (all in the name of politcal correctness). FBI statistics show 12 million arrests last year, with 99.7 being without incident. Is police brutality rampant? I think not but many will argue the FBI stats are skewed and fantasy & that be your right. I go to PPT's & teachers "your son is doing personal reading in class". My response take the book! "oh we can't do that".. Another time I get a call at work "your son won't give up his cell phone". My response just take it. "oh we can't do that". Childhood used to be a rite of passage but no more. I have raised 8 children of the state & all the agency does is undermine & excuse away consequences. Then the said agency says "don't worry the real world is out there soon". Many are having such a hard time because of their ability or lack thereof to deal with "no", adversity, lack resolve, discipline on & on. Just keep kids smiling age 5-18 at all costs. Needless to say, as I commit to these kids for life, the burden of the state's appeasements have become my damge control. I think political correctness has run amuck. The media would have us believe most police are bad, racism is rampant etc etc. I don't bow to the left or the right for that matter I just think wev'e lost our way..Oh a black 30 something woman killed a 12 year old white boy with a blow torch for godsake yet we'll hear nothing about it. hmm? It's not a perfect world and never will be. I wish the black community would address the 92% black on black murders. Dr King said in early 60's we are 10% of the population but we commit 58% of the crimes "we need to address this". Most black leader havn't talked this way in 35-40 years. It's not about more monies.. It's about personal responsibility or lack thereof. DC has the most monies poured into then any other, but continues to yield the worse results. None of us can hope to make valid points in a few paragraphs, it's not that simple. Before a get labeled a right wing old fogie, again I raise black children & other ethic children, believe in legalization of drugs, prostitution.. Im more of Libratarian. Govt is a sieve, I work for the govt. Most monies are flushed down the toilet & I am so sick of Sharpton & Jesse. They get fatter with more racil strife & keeping the black man down. ugh We all have opinions peace MEZ
