Amen to everything you said, MEZ. I work in the schools. Have for 30 years... you are right... the little inmates are running THIS asylum, too. Last year here, a 7 year old black ikd lumped up my Principal! Black eye, bloody nose and lip. He just let him get away with it!! No phone call home, no calling the police! If you recall, several unruly 5, 6 and 7 year old students have had the police called on them for basically turning their classrooms upside down and harming classmates. I've SEEN IT!! What happens? Little Johnny is on the news that night with his parent complaining about how HE WAS TREATED!! The little bastard played on everyones sympathies and the police and principal were villified!! Then they grow up and act the same way and get away with it again by playing the race card. Such bullshit!!
