I think they use "recent history" as an excuse. 50 years is a long time. Things have gotten progressively better for them.

There is good and bad in evey race. The good and decent Afro americans, and I know MANY awesome Afro Americans, are not the ones who I'm talking about. It's the lazy layabouts who come out at night to loot and riot because they are sleeping all day because they don't work. They use events such as the one's we have been discussing as an EXCUSE to steal, riot and loot! Several law abiding and decent Afro Americans were yelling at the trouble makers to get lost so that they may protest respectfully and without incident.

Also, I am not saying that just because the African kings sold their people into slavery that we should say "Oh well, thanks. Now we can have slaves". I'm sure I don't have to explain myself when I say that slavery should have NEVER happened in the past and should NEVER happen again.
