..to expand on what you said, DA, Brian's addind the sitar, mellotron, dulcimer, and on and on, MADE Keith's songs shine and put them on the next level. Sure Keith had shining moments as LOTJ mentioned, but add Brian's touches and something that was great was made greater, IMO. 1966's Aftermath was the first Stones album wriiten entirely by MJ/KR. It was also Brian's greatest contribution to any album as well. Check the liner notes to see how many exotic instruments he played on that album. Unbelievable. I still think Brian wins.
