I agree with some of plutos points of how important the song writing of richards was in the 60s,and the stunning riffs,and perhaps rocks greatest song satisfaction!!With all due respect to jones and his contributions,theres no way id vote agains richards in this period in a contest between these two guys.I voted for rick derringer in the other poll and mccartney because of tracks like blackbired and mother natures son etc.Usually i give every beatles lp a ten as you all know,as they set the bar for excellence, but yellow submarine only got a 5 from me and side one is only a 5 too.There are only 4 previously unreleased tracks on the whole lp.Side two is quant and boring,sorry george martin.All together now is a childrens song with kiddie lyrics but interesting.Hey bulldog is a great sounding riff,strange lyrics.Harrisons songs have some interesting things in them,even if the songs are banal and discordant.The 4 previously unreleased songs are cool even though its nothing special.
