Concerning the Keith thing: I think he is an amazing guitarist, lyricist and the heart of the band.Certainly, as Keno noted, they wouldn't have existed the way they do now without him. However, it is his outlaw, who gives a shit image that I think most fans relate to and really gravitate toward. Keith exudes the tough as nails, outlaw, coolest dude on the planet image that I think a lot of us wish we had lol! Again, not taking ANYTHING away from his musical ability,but I think a lot of Keith's allure is his bad ass image.
