I know what you said Keno. I was just saying for anyone who might have thought my opinion was formed by something Richards said, that it was not. I don't fall into the 'most fans' category in this instance.

So I have been guilty of reading a little bit more into your words than you intended, my apologies. I am glad you clarified, I thought the issue was now a dead one.

None of your 'insiders' were there, and saw Jones play when the track was recorded. Their information, is at best, second hand then. I'm sort of pleased about that I guess, because I think that means I can continue to go with my ears, as opposed to anonymous persons who may have gotten their information third, fourth, or who knows, hand.

I can now say that it is still my belief that Richards played the slide guitar part on that track. I will also continue to be open to the idea that it was Brian Jones. So it is open for debate as far as I'm concerned, although someone has to come up with something new, and quick, or we'll all disappear up our own arseholes.
