Isn't there a Stones Sessions book out there that details all the songs that were played at each session and who played what instrument?
There are 2 such books out there, and one of them was written by a friend of mine years ago, who also happens to be the dude who wrote the forward to my book, and who has been one of my many insiders whom I've known for many years. After I wrote my book I lost touch with most of them and I only have 2 today. I guess I should note that when I was writing my book, I also was in touch with the author of the other stones session book, but he wasn't ever an insider for me, other then a bit when I was writing my book, but never used him to report anything here. Yet I'm willing to bet I asked him about JP at that time, it wold make sense that I would but can't recall for sure if I did and my notes on this are stored on a old hard drive not on this computer. But I do recall from back then, that not one single insider who I presented this question to, claimed it was Keith or anybody else playing slide on this song. The only place where I've been told it is Keith, is here, at that winki page, and at one other board. Funny, all of this Keith talk comes from some online fans only, wonder why?
