BB is an album of great work, I think you can easily recognise Jones' slide touch on 'No Expectations'. Lots of people don't think it was Jones playing slide on 'Jig saw Puzzle', I tend to agree, it does not sound like Jones in style or touch at all.

I don't remember Jones ever getting it in the neck from fans over his no show moments, I wonder in those days how widely it would have been known? I know I listened to Beggars Banquet not knowing anything about Jimmy Millers comments over Jones' no shows whilst that album was being made.

I read recently, think it came from Wyman, that Jones was not at the session in L.A. when 'Satisfaction' was being cut. I think I was surprised, but thinking about it, I don't know why really.
