The session notes for JSP only show Brian playing slide on the song. This song, along with NE, were 2 songs years ago that Keith fans claimed was Keith playing slide on when he never did play slide on either one. So please don't restart up that falsehood again now about JSP, it was BJ!
I don't think the playing on JSP has Jones' sublimeslide touch.
I disagree, it's sublime enough... I just went to YouTube and played JSP and then 'Salt of the Earth', a song that Keith does play slide on, and on SOTR I would say yes, there's a song without a sublime slide touch to it, even if I still dig the song a lot. You could tell right off the bat that wasn't Brian's slide at all, and that's not the case with JSP, as there's nothing wrong with the slide on that song.
