Not that I wish to keep this going, since I don't (and I asked pluto to please continue this in private email, but he lacks total respect of me and didn't), but I ask you pluto, what was so ridiculous about me posting the truth here after you posted a flat out falsehood about me? If I removed a sentence from my post (and I swear on my life to the others reading this that I didn't), what was it that I removed? You can't answer that question for one of four reasons... 1) This is the main reason: It was never there to remove in the first place. 2)You are thinking of another reply I made in another post and got that reply mixed up with this reply, and if so, the sentence is still on this board 3) You are getting old and are slowly losing your mind (it happens). 4) You flat out lied just to make me look like some kind of asshole because you dislike me.... If it is #4, and I hope it isn't, then you should not be posting here and should leave this joint forever.
To my friends here at Gasland: Last night I had a talk with my daughter about pluto making a total, false claim about me and if me editing my own reply was wrong, and she opened my eyes to some truth about me after looking over the entire board a bit. She noted that for a great, friendly guy with lots of friends in the real word, I come off - sometimes - as being an angry person in Gasland. She then asked me: "Why would anybody want to be friends with an angry person?". She pointed to the thread on the Beatles not being real, as an example, and then asked me why I'm that way only here at the board.
I know sometimes my frustration with the world and many of it's crazy people who live among us, do that to me (just read the sick comments from sick people at Yahoo News and you will see what I mean). Maybe that's why sometimes I seem so angry here (maybe I need to stop reading Yahoo News before I come here?), other than I need to released that inner anger somewhere, and I'm glad I don't release it on my family, but I'm sad that I sometimes released it here, and I promise, I will stop doing that here! I don't wish to be looked at as some kind of asshole and when I do that, I am being one. So I apologize for that to my fellow Gassers, but I do not apologize to pluto, who flat out wrote a total falsehood about me here in this thread and continues to act like an asshole himself as this thread grows longer. He owes me apology for stating that falsehood about me!
So I will change how I post here, and I promise you that, but, I will not change how I run this board, and I do run it in a fair matter, no matter what was stated in this thread. Again, I have never, not once, changed anybody else's posts here, never, other than when a person has asked me to, and there is nothing wrong with that. I'll also note, again, that I'm dyslectic, many people are, and if you know anything about this problem, then you known the kind of mistakes I make, and others here make, like leaving out a word when writing, or spelling mistakes, or sometimes leave out a word while writing and not realizing it till later, since we still see the missing word even when we first re-read what we wrote, or finally, we sometimes see words and numbers wrong. Heck, I saw a Gasser post today who did that, it's a problem one is born with and you can't overcome it, you can only live with it and look out for it when you write stuff or use math. So here, when I see that I made such a mistake, I go into the admin and fix it, and again, it's usually for spelling mistakes or adding in a missing word, and most times nobody ever cares or sees anything wrong in doing that. It isn't a crime and I will continue to do this to my posts only, as I've been doing here since 1998...... Now to Jaded Faded, who I guess has been mislead by what was written in this thread. If you are really worried that any of your posts here were ever edited, go back and read all of them, and you will see and learn the truth that not one single post of yours, or anybody else's, have ever been altered or edited. NOT ONE SINGLE ONE! It blows me away that anybody would think that of me solely because I edit my own posts (once in a while) when I make a spelling mistake, in fact, it blows me away that anybody would think that of me after so many years of running this board, and up till this thread, nobody ever has.
Now, this thread needs to end right here, so let's end it, and if pluto wants to reply to me, or anybody else, you can do so in private email. I already know that others here don't wish to read what he has to say about this or me anymore. So this thread is now closed - but - I can't lock it since this very old board doesn't have such a feature to do that with. So let me say this, anybody who would post a comment to this thread after I kindly asked them not to, doesn't need to be posting anymore at this board, since it would show a total lack of respect not only to me, but also to all of Gasland, and if you don't respect this place, then why are you here?
