I'm not saying it never happens, sure it happens - everywhere, but it isn't even close to normal male behavior to do that just to get laid, and no, it wasn't something I or any of my close friends did. I'll note that most of the guys I was close to in high school had no problems in getting laid. There were a lot of female baby boomers around and you could always find somebody who was willing back when I was in my teens and living in and around NYC. But believe me, I can't think of one single friend who ever did that, and my friends and I weren't even close to being angels.
