I think there's about 14 women or more who are accusing jim. And what they are accusing him of is horrible, It is rape. If a person has a few drinks, they can still make decisions and engage in consensual acts. Cosby is accused of drugging women, rendering them unconscious, and then doing things to them.
We all believe in 'innocent until proven guilty'. But does anyone think that the justice system has treated women fairly in the past? At one time, Cosby was a massive figure in television, in our whole culture.
I think what we will find here is that there will a lot of corroborating information and accounts that come out of these various accusations. Friends will remember recall the accusers telling them the stories decades ago, there might be diaries or notes, and a DA wanted to charge Cosby 10 years ago but felt that the case wasn't strong enough.
I don't know if he'll ever find himself before a court for all these accusations. But if the evidence was there, and he was found guilty, he'd potentially face many, many years in jail. But again, this will probably not happen.
