I read up on some of the allegations. Watched an interview of one of the accusers. While it would not surprise me if one or more of these women are telling a story for a money grab...we are talking about 6 accusers during different periods of his life.
I laughed my young ass off with my older brother listening to Bill Cosby records way back when. I have always thought highly of the man and felt he was a fine role model.
That many accusers though? Usually when there is smoke there is fire. I don't want to believe he is guilty. But the realist in me says he likely is guilty of taking advantage of at least one of these women and perhaps all of them.
Still, I keep an open mind. I remember the Duke Lacrosse debacle where those young men were accused of rape and it turned out to be a complete lie. The difference is that was just one woman making the accusation. And she was a prostitute. In this case I believe the number is 6 women.
I believe in innocent until proven guilty. Bill deserves his opportunity to defend himself and his reputation. But it doesn't look good. And if he drugged these women and had sex with them then he is a piece of shit in my book.
