What can he say to defend himself?
He could say 'I didn't do it' instead of not saying anything, as he's doing. He's acting like he's above being questioned in such a matter. If you're accused of something you didn't do, then defend yourself and speak up. You can't help your case by saying nothing at all.
You can ruin a man's life with just the accusations of sex crimes.
Yes, and that sucks if the person is innocent. All the more to speak up and defend yourself.
But Gasland isn't a court of law, either, and we're only expressing ourselves here, we aren't going to be the ones who ruin his life or send him to jail, that's for sure.
Hell, even here, which is pretty progressive as a whole, people are saying, "If there's that many women, there must be something."
Yep, and I stand by what I stated. The large number of women making claims against him says something to me, anyway. We are talking about 12 different woman, that's just way too many different people coming out against this one guy saying he did this to them. How do you dismiss all of these woman? All 12 are liars?

There was such a time?!? When was that? In the movies maybe? Drugging another person so you could have non consensual sex with them sure wasn't ever something that was acceptable anywhere I ever lived, or during anytime in the 6 decades I've been around. It was something only a sick person would do. Please don't make that out to be a normal behavior pattern of males when it never was.
I understand that it totally sucks to accuse somebody of a crime they didn't do, and I'm usually the first one to defend such a person. But is that the case here? Let's see... we are talking about a super rich dude who seems to think that he's above the law, and gets away with it at first by giving up large sums of cash to keep one victim quiet, as he already did years ago to shut up the last person who spoke out. Now there's 11 others who claim he did this to them too. Not just one other person, but 11 others. Sorry, but he isn't in the same boat here as an innocent person, and in this case, the large number of women does mean something - to me anyway.
