I think it's wonderful whenever anybody defends another with using the 'innocent until proven guilty' defense and also looking at both sides as you're doing. It isn't that I'm not looking at both sides of this, as this is old news, the problem now for him, as you and others have pointed out, is he isn't talking and that's making him look bad now. But I disagree with what you noted about the media. If anything, most in the media haven't treated him, at least up till now, as 'you're guilty regardless of what you claim', and I think that's why he feels he can keep quiet on this again and it will all go away like it did years ago.
Bill Cosby has always been looked at as being on a higher pedestal than most other TV stars, and I think for myself, that always bugged me, since I never was into any of his shows, they were just okay shows and overrated in my book. But not being a fan of his shows has nothing to do with my feelings on this, other than I will admit I hate anybody who holds a 'I'm better than you' attitude, which Cosby goes with. So when something like this happens, I have no pity for him. Plus it should be also noted that most of the women did tell family members, they just didn't share their stories with the media because of who they were up against.
