Keno, thanks for the link! That website is a riot! Some of this stuff is just so over the top that all you can do is laugh... Laughter isn't a cure for Ebola, but maybe it can be one for the epidemic scare, Ronnie.
But as a nation should we have to go through what texas did everytime someone decides to stroll in from nigeria or liberia.There is no cure yet and lifelong travel bans dont seem feasible?
Come on Manny, you don't really mean this, do you? Firstly, Nigeria was declared Ebola-free this morning by the WHO because there hasn't been a new case there in 6 weeks, which is twice the incubation period.
Secondly... lifelong travel bans? Seriously? If someone catches Ebola in 2014 and survives, they can't travel in 2024, 2034 or 2044?
As for the nurses, either there was a breach of protocol, or they weren't fully trained on how to use and, especially, on how to take off the protective gear. Taking the thing off seems to be where most of the danger of accidental contamination lies.
