Agreed, but in my example you're in Arizona and the freezing rain is falling in Vermont. What are the chances that you're going to get freezing rain in Arizona? I guess that statistically speaking they're not zero, but realistically it ain't gonna happen any time soon.
i think its quite interesting that around 40 countries have stopped flights from those nations already i believe?I may be wrong on this? Are they being intelligent and proactive or just paranoid and ignorant?
I'd love to see a list of those 40 countries. I'd also like to know where in Africa they stopped going and how long the ban was/has been in place. I wonder how many direct flights per week there are from any major US airport to Liberia, Guinea and Sierra Leone. My guess is that there are none. I know that you can't get there directly from anywhere in Canada, and I'm pretty certain that any North American traveller to any of those countries would have to go through a European hub.
Surely no one is suggesting that all flights to and from major European airports stop until this Ebola thing is behind us?
You run a lot more risk of being hit by a bus than you do of catching Ebola on the streets of Buffalo. And if you were going to Africa, you should worry about malaria a lot more than you would about Ebola.
