What I was thinking was, that given the grammatical use of the first person singular throughout e.g. 'please allow me....myself', 'I'm a man' 'I rode a tank' so on and so forth, that we were definitely talking about two separate entities
I see and get your point, but let's look at it in the second way I'm looking at it, as there is yet another clue in that opening verse to who we're really talking about here.... "I'm a man of wealth and taste" is that clue, as the devil is not a man at all. Yet I think most would agree that MJ is such a man, but the devil can't be.
Btw talking about religion it's the 5th today. 'Remember remember the 5th of November gunpowder treason and plot'.
I had no clue what you meant by that, but the second part of what you wrote could be looked at as being offensive by some if they have no clue what you're writing about. So I just looked that up and thank goodness for Wikipedia. My guess is unless one lives in the UK, or perhaps in Europe, then most others would have no clue to what that meant. Now I know, so thanks for the history lesson that they don't teach us on this side of the pond. Plus the second part of what you wrote clearly isn't a problem once one knows what that means.
