If a person says that the stones are the best band ever,i wont argue the point because i love them and what they have accomplished,and awesome longevity.But the beatles wrote an awful lot of great songs in a short time.So one can make a case for them as best ever.They stopped touring before sound systems improved,but they were a good live band,just ask richards.He once observed that the beatles did everything well,and he was right!
