Bravo post Mike and totally true. It has always been the money that MJ has gone after before anything else!
I also heard Brian's estate makes next to nothing, at least according to the well regarded new book on him.
That is totally true... his estate has been receiving the same amount of money each year (around $50,000, which the Stones agreed to pay him yearly, when he left the band), and his estate will keep receiving that same amount each year until the day the band breaks up. He would have made so much more, millions, if he had been credited for the songs he helped write, and he most definitively helped write several of the '60s big hit songs. Talk about being ripped off. Bill and MT were too, as they should had been paid for what they wrote and weren't, other than for a song or 2!
