Lol Fender Bender, if I never agree with you on another thing, I certainly agree that it is indeed a volatile mix.
The name MacFarland I know, it will have the same origin as the more common (here) MacFarlane no doubt. My surname is one that is often associated with Clan MacFarlane who's old stomping ground to the west of Loch Lomond is not a million miles from here.
I'm happy to help you reach greater understanding of the differences of culture and language where they exist between our two great nations.......that is, after all, the role I have chosen for myself, to promote the gaiety of nations that we may understand each other that little bit better.
