RE: RE: Anyone Remember The Honeycombs? nsc

I guess we could argue over what makes a person crazy, but is it worth it? IMO, just because one might know a person 6 years verses one year (or whatever it actually was) makes no difference to me, if you kill another person over anything other than for self defense, your a nut, period, since it's your actions that determines that, and he did kill his landlady over his making noise in a studio that wasn't suppose to be in such building, regardless how long he was there. That action alone in my book made him a nut-job.

Necrophilia is more than just a bit strong, it's as insane as one can get, kinda in the same field as having sex with animals. Then there were the dead body parts he kept in his home in his freezer (and confirmed by police reports), that is very strange and abnormal indeed, and a sign of not being all there.

If all of that isn't strange, I don't know what else to say, again, to me it's not even worth an argument, but IMO, being into the dead like that is alone a case for being placed in a home for the insane - for good.

Spector had one crazy obsession, that was with guns and scaring others with them. He was known for years to - on several occasions, pull guns on people and from what I have heard, the reason he lost his freedom is because he talked that actress into killing herself after handing her a gun, but he actually never pulled the trigger. Some say he did, and maybe he did, and what took place at this home that night only a crazy and insane person would do. He's now where he should be. But even if only half the crazy things Meek did were true, he's more a nut than even Spector, and he was nowhere as good a producer. That's not to say that he wasn't still good at what he did, and he was ahead of his time; he and Spector both were, and sometimes the fact that one is crazy is what puts them ahead of others in their work.

I think another thing about Meek that made him mad was that he would work nonstop, something like 20 hours a day, 7 days a week, and he would sleep only 2 hours a night... that alone would make one crazy. Don't get me wrong, I only sleep 4 hours a night on average, so I have read up on this since I've been told by more than one doctor that a lack of sleep leads to early death in many people. But in studying medical facts on this, some people can live and get by on just 4 hours a night sleep for their entire lives (and without using drugs to stay awake), it's only something like 10% of the population that can do this (and I fall into that 10% I guess, as I don't take any drugs to stay awake and I've been this way my entire adult life), but in Meek's case, he did this by taking drugs, and a forced lack of sleep by drug taking, can make one crazy.

IMO, everybody has a bit of crazy in them, and I'm no different than anybody else, but I'm not crazy because of any lack of sleep, and I have tried to sleep more, it just doesn't work for me. So yes, it might be a crazy thing on my end that I only sleep 4 hours a night, but it doesn't make me crazy in doing it, either. Plus 4 hours of sleep is still double the rest than 2 hours of sleep give you. Plus, if you're reading this reply just after I posted this - and you live in the U.S or Canada, or anywhere on this side of the globe, and you aren't taking drugs that keep you awake, then you are just like me, since it's what - just after 1 and 4 am where you live right now. But again, it's normal to be a bit crazy, but even with being crazy there's different degrees to it, and some are just off the normal end of the scale. Hell, I know that there's some people who go to bed at 9 pm every night and get up every morning around 4 or 5 am by choice, and that to me is crazy, but it doesn't mean that they are crazy for doing that!
