Stones poll: Mick is my pick! He wrote more of the '60s songs, and he was the frontman of the group. Keith wasn't even the main musician in the band in the '60s, not until around '68, but to say he was shy in the '60s isn't really true either. By '68 the 2 were even, and by '69 Keith was 2 steps ahead of MJ, but for the rest of the '60s, it was clearly MJ who contributed more to the band.
Rock poll: Gosh, here is a band that so many of their songs sound the same, which makes picking which one is better, hard. I went with "Go Now", it really was their best song IMO, and with Denny Lane on lead vocals, it didn't sound like what was to come from this otherwise great band.
VS poll: l'll go with Tommy James' version, but you got to hand it to Joan Jet and how she changed a psychedelic classic to sounding almost like a heavy metal song. It's sad to see her version getting beat up in the voting so far, I was thinking the vote would be closer.
Fab poll: 9 is my vote. It wasn't their best, but still damn good!
