I still have to respectfully disagree. I have many soundboards that were recorded the way HR says and I listen to them often. I guess it really depends on what you look for in a bootleg. The only audience recording I listen to with any regularity is Frankfurt, and that's because the taper was so close to MT's side of the stage that he comes through loud and clear, as if it was actually a soundboard.

Otherwise, the only way I'll listen to audience recordings is on my computer because the sound isn't quite as bad on my crappy speakers.
