Isn't it obvious? The question you are asking me to answer i.e. 'who are these people who hate Brian Jones'? is a question that would need to be put to DA because she by her question 'Keith why do you hate Brian Jones'? obviously thinks that at least one person hates him.
As I have never said Anywhere in this thread that Anyone hated or hates Brian Jones, I find it strange to be asked to answer the question 'who are these people who hate Brian Jones'? To repeat myself ; to get the answer to that question you will have to ask those who think that there are people who hate Brian Jones, and in this instance that is not me!
As far as the use of the word 'stolen' goes, I have made it clear in my exchanges with DA my view on that, no need to go over it here.
When it comes to anything Keith Richards said or says about Brian Jones, there is one glaringly obvious fact that doesn't apply to yourself or anyone else here I suspect, and that is, he speaks with authority.
When Keith Richards talks about Brian Jones he isn't coming at it from what he's read in this book or that article etc, he is speaking with the authority of a man who lived and worked closely with Brian Jones over a number of years, he's a man who would be able to tell you what Brian's farts smelt like, so close was that association.
You might not like what Keith Richards has to say about Brian Jones, you might think and continue to brand him a liar etc, but when Keith Richards talks about Brian Jones he talks with the authority of having known him and having been there, you don't.
This issue of it being ok for me to defend the 'Glimmers', but it's not ok for you and DA to defend Brian Jones, is a rather contorted version of my exchanges with DA. Read it, there is no suggestion in anything I said that I felt it was ok for me to do something but not ok for others to do the same. I said my support for the 'Glimmers' was not unconditional, that fair criticism was justified, and that in debates such as this I try to take a rounded even handed view, and not take an entrenched stance. I suppose in saying that I was hoping that others came at it from the same standpoint. However,as far as yourself and the 'Glimmers' are concerned I don't think that has been the case for as long as I've been posting here. Much of your criticism appears vitriolic and unjustified. So what I see is something that looks like an on going campaign to besmirch the 'Glimmers'.
That of course is just my opinion and how I see it, you and no doubt many others will have a different opinion. Isn't that just the way of it?
You have made reference to something I said in a thread a while back about you not being a real Rolling Stones fan. I said that in relation to you calling for a boycott of their gigs. It was my opinion then, and remains so, that no real Rolling Stones fan would call on other fans to boycott the Stones. Before you repeat that you were not saying that seriously let me remind you that when I asked you that very question in relation to your call for a boycott i.e. 'are you serious'?, you replied 'Absolutely'(I wouldn't go looking for the post though, I think it 'disappeared').
Now I know fine well that when you said that, you knew that it was something that would never happen. However, I think it would be something you would very much like to happen because it would fit in very nicely with your anti 'Glimmer' campaign.
Just my opinions now, don't go getting upset.
