DA, my mind can be changed. I am totally open to listening to what people have to say, and if I realise they have put forward a stronger case for their argument than I have for mine, then I will accept that they may very well be correct, and say so
It seems whenever we debate the opposite is true, but I would love to believe you mean this and I even believe you do mean it, but sadly it just isn't so going by past debates with you. You don't seem to listen to a word we argue and then you will say you did cover what was asked when you didn't clearly answer what was asked.
If we all agreed all the time this place would be boring, but I agree with DA, this debate is way too old and it goes nowhere and I would love to say that I would like to never talk or debate about this again here. But you can bet that Keith will get diarrhea mouth again some day and say something stupid about Brian, or Mick, or somebody else famous, since he's the only one in the Stones that does that to others (even bad mouthing those outside of his band!). But when he does that again about members of the Stones, and puts down my favorite band, then I will defend them here - unless he speaks the truth. If he speaks the truth, I'll agree with him as I have in the past, like when he correctly stated what he did about Mick accepting a knighthood. But hell, the only time I have gotten negative about Keith is for 2 things only - his put downs of others, and his (and Mick's) stealing of their fellow band member's writing credits. That's it! Oh, and to make one other thing clear, since you noted the MT thing and his not being allowed to play on more than 2 songs per show. I like most others here bitched about that too, but I always blamed Mick J for that one, I never have blamed Keith for that since it's all MJ's doing.
But in closing, the biggest problem for all of us here is debating online - it sucks and leads to misunderstandings, some so big that a few Gassers have left the board because they took what was written, wrong. If we were speaking and debating in person I believe the outcomes to our debates would be different, but we don't have that option here and it leads to a few disliking the other person. That totally sucks (we are suppose to be friends here), and I hope that doesn't happen with you and me pluto, since I like you; I only dislike your style of debating.
