Fuck knows what happened there, human error I'm guessing.....what I was going to say manny was, I also heard that Norman's bio on Lennon didn't miss and hit the wall.
Given that they usually turn out to have feet of clay, I am always surprised at the way in which people continue to elevate 'heroes' to the level of virtual sainthood, you know, Mother Teresa(sp?), Ghandi, Mandela etc. I think Lennon to an extent falls into that bracket.
Almost inevitably people who have bestowed sainthood on their idols, often get defensive when their idols' less than savoury traits are exposed, and they tend to gloss over these obvious human flaws. And, when all is said and done, they are after all only humans.
Of course being 'only human' is no excuse for certain behaviours, and it is for sure, our behaviour that marks us out as the type of human we are.
