I know I'm gonna catch a lot of crap for this, but, as much as I like the Beatles, I don't see the "genius" of John Lennon. I absolutely respect him and love his music, his voice... but I think Mick Jagger is more of a genius, and that isn't heard too often and I wonder why. I certainly don't have to go into all the detail here because we all know how many times the Stones have risen like a phoenix from the ashes. They've been "done" so many times and came back like Rocky Balboa and kicked large amounts of ass when critics and musicians alike thought they were done. As written in a post below, Mick has conquered all genres of music as the music scene changed. That is pure genius! To be successful in blues, ballads, country, folk, disco and good ole Rock and Roll in the 60's, 70's,80's, 90's, 00's, 10's! Mick Jagger, IMO, is more genius than Lennon and Dylan.
