Lennon admitted in the extensive 1970 rolling stone interviews that hit hit some women and beat up some guys in his first 30 years of life.Sahaira is referring to this im sure.And he seemed quite remorseful and very embarrassed by such behavior.He didnt hide it.Im 53 and ive never hit a women but millions of men do,and some hide it, some brag about, and very few like lennon are remorseful.I think he also deeply regretted that he was on the road and playing rock star so much that he missed alot of julians life experiences.Thats mainly why he retired from music for 5 years to raise sean.Hes like millions of men who were or are buried in their work,he was not an intentional bad parent as keno noted.But even if a person does not like lennon or his behavior or beliefs,one cant deny how great he was at his profession,the two are really not connected.As great as harrison was in mamy ways and im a fan he was not even close in lennons class as an all around talent.
