One thing about Brian Epstein, he realized that each of Beatles had their own massive fan base, and he made sure that each of the group had a share of the spotlight, with none of them shoved into the background. It was good business, made use of the group's talents to the fullest extent, and was possibly why the Beatles left most of their competition in the dust. If ALO had adopted a similar approach to fully utilize all available resources, would the Stones have caught up to the Beatles in overall sales and popularity? Quite possibly. Bill and Charlie seemed to accept the secondary role, but as much as ALO/GT's tried to relegate Brian into that second tier, he stood out every bit as much as a musician and personality. ALO seemed to sell Brian short, partly for personal reasons while being aided and abetted by the jealousy and ego of the "Chosen Two", which in turn held the band back. Creativity is greatest where it is developed and appreciated. Perhaps they figured it wasn't worth it?
