No BJ, and no Stones, period! The Glimmers did finally blossom, yes indeed, but MJ never would had stuck around long enough to do so in the early days if Brian hadn't made hits out of the songs that Mick sang for them early on...
BTW, you got the facts wrong on UMT, that very simple riff came from Mr Jones, not Keith. BJ was just never given writing credit, yet another terrible thing about the Glimmer Twins in their treatment of him - and in their treatment of Bill and MT, too.
