Stones poll: Jagger's version, but I only like it more because of that great slide.
Rock poll: Fleetwood Mac, with The Ike & Tina Turner Revue a close second and Sonny & Cher third. I'm somewhat surprised that The Mamas and the Papas are doing so well. John Phillips was the main songwriter, yes, but he couldn't really sing too well, and Michelle was only there because she was so beautiful looking and his wife. She didn't really write the songs that John co-credited her for writing and she wasn't a lead singer at all, she mainly only sang backups. I pretty sure she only sang lead on one song, which was the same deal with John too. The 2 lead singers in the group weren't married to each other.
VS poll: Tiny Tim's cover. The other song, lyrics wise, is cornier, and having a fake band is corny, too. But TT, rest his soul, could make any lyrics sound corny.
Fab poll: 'Here Comes the Sun' by a light year! Damn did George nail that song!
