Solo she may be pop but Tina was a great RNB singer back in the day, and Ike Turner was playing rock and roll before there was rock and roll. Rocket 88 IS the first rock and roll record. I give not one care about their personal life, they are easily the best duo on the list. Lennon once tried to compare he and Yoko to them, and it's the stupidest thing he ever said (sorry I love a lot of John's stuff but Yoko is my least favorite vocalist of ALL time).
