While it is always interesting to compare everything that can be compared to something else (and I would always encourage this), I don't think it necessarily means anything of substance in this case. Opening songs and closing songs were always going to be somewhat similar in sound and feel in great works that subscribed to the proper "album" format. It's just how they were made. All albums needed to be kicked off with a great song, and usually they were front-loaded with the better material. And if you were honestly trying to make a real album's album you were always going to need an epic or somewhat dramatic closer (like The End or Desolation Row. But really, is Tomorrow Never Knows any less good just because A Day in the Life came on the subsequent album? (or vice-versa, depending on your preference)

For me, it would be more appropriate to compare YCAGWYW to the sound and feel of the previous two songs leading up to it on Let it Bleed to gauge if it continues with the arc that was intended, rather than to the closer from BB.
