The thing about the studio MR, is that every note played by Keith - from the flicking on of the amp, to that (and there's no other word for it) final moan is a razor sharp STINGING stab in the back. Then the discipline and restraint shown by Bill and Charlie all through the track creates the perfect amount of tension, especially when pulling out of that mid section.
The only problem with the live versions - especially with Ronnie - is that they tend to get to be very undisciplined and sloppy, especially towards the end.
The best live one I've heard is the version on the WELCOME TO NY boot, possibly because its the end of the tour, they don't over rev it up and get sloppy on it, it has a very nice FEEL to it.
