Turd on the Run is such a glorious cut! Like Parachute Woman, it is seemingly a side-trip; many would argue "filler," but both are so infectious and invigorating to me...they ought to play these LIVE for the sheer fun of it.

Totally agree. Both are fun, energetic numbers without any claim to any sort of deep meaning. And since TOTR has no horns and no backu-up singers, it is actually one of my favourite songs on that album.

I just listened to both songs, one right after the other. Just for the fun of it.
