I can think of a handful of shows that qualify as worst, right off the bat.
Rush in 1976. Max Webster opened and sucked. Derringer came out and rocked the house like a monster. I figured Rush was gonna be amazing. They sucked. Boring, shitty sound and just all around dull.
Big Country in whenever they were coming up. The show was 18 minutes long because the singer was so drunk and barfing. They even sang the song Big Country twice. They were so lame.
The Grateful Dead. Sorry, they just didn't do it for me. Snnooooorrrreeeeee.......zzzzzzzzzz.....
Best shows - man, that's harder. I've seen some killer concerts. The Dexateens completely blew me away. So did The Dirtbombs. The Flamin' Groovies were so cool. Roxy Music, The Pretenders, X, Motorhead. Man, there's a ton of great ones!
