I can't say I've got a best concert I went to because each experience was different in it's own way. A few weekends ago I went to Soo Michigan to see a guy named Aaron Lewis (lead singer for Staind - anyone hear of them?) We had so much fun and it was a great venue - he was solo and doing his country work. I was actually impressed with his music and he was hilarious - would start a really gay song by journey or someone and then just stop and say "I don't remember the fucking words" and sip his rye. Later we were in the casino near this cigarette machine (us Canadians were pretty impressed since we don't have those here in Canada as here they hide cigarettes and frown upon them but they really don't want us to quit because it is such a huge revenue for the government). This guy came up and we were chatting and it turned out he was the bassist so he brought us over to meet Aaron. He was so very nice and down to earth. We didn't bug him - there were already the groupie hags all around him and I think he just wanted to hang out alone and have some drinks. Ozzy was another great show since we had VIP, a couch to sit on and were pretty close to the stage. The music was awesome too. Another one I remember was the big Music Fest in 2010 and we saw Our Lady Peace, Matthew Good, Finger Eleven, David Wilcox, Faber Drive and Hedley. Sheryl Crow was an awesome concert I saw too. And how could I forget seeing Stompin' Tom - he was great. I've seen Alice Cooper a few times and they always put on an excellent show.
My worst one was my fault. I took too many shrooms and ended up wandering the streets and didn't even make it in - we were all handing out our tickets right before entering. I remember looking down (didn't even get my ticket and I musta been looking down for a very long time lol) and then I looked up and all my friends were gone, the buzz hit me like a ton of bricks and I freaked out big time. I thought I was "dead" and a walking ghost so I started wandering around asking people if they could see or hear me. Was so weird feeling like that and of course everyone I went up to ignored me because they thought I was a lunatic with huge black pupils. I even went up to a cop directing traffic in the street and he ignored me too lol (thank God for that)! I must have wandered around for about 3 hours! I sure heard about that concert tho and how ACDC rocked the place down. My friend who was in the same state of me ended up at a pole for the whole time and didn't enter the concert either cause she was hoping I'd walk by. LOL. I try to stick to portabella mushrooms nowadays, Ronnie!
