Stones poll: GOOMC. PIB was a great song too, but Charlie stood out more on GOOMC.
Rock Poll: I picked the Woodstock festival in 1969. There was something connected to that event that changed everything, including how concerts were put together after that. Now yes, without a start somewhere, Woodstock, The Beatles, and everything after the '50s would not have taken place, so I could also say that the first release of a rock song by Ike Turner (under a different name) would be the most important event in Rock, even more important than Elvis's first record, since there was nothing at all before "Rocket 88". But hell, Elvis did open the door wide and the Beatles then busted down the door forever. So really, there were 5 or 6 major events perhaps more important before Woodstock, but I'll still go with this '69 event anyway.
VS poll: I love both songs, but I have to go with "Freebird", it has some of the greatest guitar playing ever made in it, and not to take anything away from Page and his playing on STH.
Fab poll: "Here Comes the Sun" by a mile for me, what perfect guitar playing by George on this gem of a song! I'm surprised that even early on it's not running away with the votes in this poll, but I seem to predict many outcomes to these polls wrong in advance, so that's nothing new, and that's what makes the polls so damn fun to run!
