I'm pretty sure they were on Sullivan first, then on Dean Martin

I googled it and it appears that the Stones were on the Dean Martin Show on June 3, 1964 (I've also seen June 13 listed as the date) and on the Ed Sullivan Show on October 25 of that year.

So they were on Dean Martin's during their first tour and on Ed Sullivan's during their second. (As an aside, it's amazing what a difference a few months made: on their first tour nobody knew who the heck they were and yet only four months later, it was "Stonesmania"... but I digress...)
